Engineering tools
Available is a range of tools. A Myford ML7 Lathe, an older milling machine (looks very robust!), a Startrite pillar drill, a small band saw, bench grinder and bench sander. All appear working but stored and unused for some years.

36 Rater
Nice lightweight fibreglass hull in fair to good condition but the rudder looks like it’s been added later. The model is complete with newish sails and overall condition is good but the hatch cover is missing. I have some deck patch material which you could use. (Original sails come with the boat)

Nottingham 48 J Class
Overall condition is fair but the model is fully functional and ready to sail. There is a sail bag for storing the rig. There is some poorly repaired damage to the keel and a chip out of the gelcoat at the bow, none of which will affect the way the model sails and can be repaired to restore the aesthetics. I personally don’t like the hatches so I will include a hatch kit for free with the model to a club member. There is a lift fitting on the deck and also a handle to launch and retrieve the model without having to bend down…so cool!! Ideal for sailing when its weedy!
£350 with the radio, £300 without the radio

Tug (42 inch)
Model is nicely built with the intention of using a live steam engine but this is removed and for sale separately. Prop shaft and propellor fitted. Ideal for fitting an electric motor and detailing up with lighting, sound etc. It’s a practical size and the full superstructure lifts away for great access to the interior. Will also need some ballast!

The top pic shows a Saito T2NR engine, a boiler (with integral burner) for which I can’t find a manufacturers name, a gas tank and water pump. The second picture shows a Saito 2BF boiler with separate burner. There is a condenser and what I believe to be a throttle valve. There are also other parts, mainly fittings. The Saito boiler and engine alone retail at close to £1,200 and all the parts are built to a very high standard.
The engine, boiler and gas tank are on a brass plate designed to fit into the Tug above

Clyde Puffer
Model is well built and almost complete with brushed motor fitted, Viper Marine ESC and Flysky radio and receiver. Includes original instructions and a couple of books on puffers for reference. Very little work needed but you I think the model would need ballasting

Bluenose
Length Hull 1.4 metres. Hull with bowsprit 1.55 metres
Also a plank on frame model from a kit. Nicely detailed and built with radio in mind, tubes in the keel allow for a fin and ballast to be fitted. This wasn’t my intention and I intended to fit a motor and prop to create a motor-sailor. Have a chat with me if you want to know more.
Bluenose was a working fishing boat from the turn of the last century which also had a successful racing history. The original no longer exists but a replica has been built. Google has a lot of information, worth a look.

International Dragon
Length 1,340, weight 10.4Kg
Very nicely made model yacht using the “plank on frame” method. Building a model this way requires skill and patience and this hull is well executed. I have a nice set of cotton sails but she will need mast, booms, rigging and servo’s to complete.
There is minor damage to the deck where the winches (for scale) were fitted along the hatch but otherwise in good condition.

Marblehead or 10 Rater. £350
Length 1,5 metres weight 10.4Kg
This hull is “plank on frame” and exquisitely made. The stand carries the number K3075 and name “Riot” so further enquiries could be made with the MYA. I admire the skill needed to create hulls to this standard but sadly most model builders with these skills are no longer with us. The hull has two sail winches and a rudder servo fitted and is only missing the rig.

2. 48 inch J Class. A well built model, and attractive colour scheme.
00 model railway stuff.
Lots of track, trains and carriages stored in boxes which I haven’t seen, perhaps not our thing but let me know if you are interested. There are two display cases which I have seen, the one in the pic and another about 50% wider.
